A SENSE OF PLACEA Sense of Place combines self portraiture with historical images to create a personal context of ancestry and place. The photos were taken at a family camp in Ontario, Canada built at the turn of the century. Once a thriving hub of family surrounded by a vast wilderness, the camp is now a diminished refuge encroached upon by a modern world. A Sense of Place has become a symbol for the changes that occur with the passage of time and generation. Click on a photograph for an enlarged image.
